HOW TO RIDE

Learn how to properly ride the bus with these five easy steps.

Look for and read the bus's head sign.

The head sign provides the bus number and route name.

Other buses pass by and even stop at the same bus stop. Pay attention to the head signs to ensure you're getting on the correct bus.

Flag the bus to stop by waving or holding your arm up.

At a designated bus stop, you'll need to flag the bus to stop. Simply wave or hold your arm in the air to signal the driver to pull over.

Once the bus is fully stopped, the front doors will open.

Enter through the front doors of the bus.

Once the bus has come to a complete stop, the front doors will open. Please remember to always enter the bus through the front doors.

Show the driver your mobile pass or scan your pass, then find a seat and make yourself comfortable.

Pull the cord when your stop is next to signal the driver to stop.

When you're ready to exit the bus, simply pull the cord to signal the driver to stop.

Once the bus comes to a full stop, the doors will open.

Exit through the rear doors of the bus.

When you're ready to exit the bus, please exit through the rear (back) doors.

Once the bus is fully stopped, the doors will open.

First, open the app, click on the blue-lined menu in the upper left corner, and click "Plan a Trip."

Enter your starting location.

Click in the "Departing From" box and either select "My Location"—if you're in the location you are departing from—or begin to type to find the location you'll be leaving from.

Enter your arrival destination.

Click in the "Going To" box to enter the location where you'd like to arrive.

Select your departure or arrival time.

Select either "Leave At" or "Arrive By" (the app will list information based on your selection), the day you wish to travel, and the time.

When your option appears, you may have several departure or arrival times to choose from, including walking. Simply select the one that best fits your travel needs.
